Orient last layer corners (~8 moves)
Situation A: 2 corners
The head lights case (facing same side)
Here you can use the exact same routines as in the previous step, with the only difference that now you hold the cube with the last layer on top. One situation we haven’t covered though is where two adjacent corners are facing the same way.
[rubik alg=”R2DR’U2RD’R’U2R’” mode=”OLL”]
The diagonal case
use either the simple
[rubik alg=”xUR’U’LURU’r’” mode=”OLL”]
or the inverse of the same side case
[rubik alg=”RU2RDR’U2RD’R2″ mode=”OLL”]
Situation B: 3 corners
Put the last layer on top and use what we’ll call the corner flip:
[rubik alg=”L’URU’LUR’U’” mode=”OLL”]
or the mirror of it
[rubik alg=”RU’L’UR’U’LU” mode=”OLL”]
Situation C: 4 corners
It’s important to note that if you have done the previous step properly you should have kept the 2×2 block in the last layer that was created. If you have accidentally broken it, then you can end up in this situation, so I am including it here for completeness. If you are confident you will not mess up the 2×2 block you can safely skip this step.
The hands and feet or little man case
This is a very simple case, it is simply the corner flip twice:
[rubik alg=”RU’L’UR’U’L2U’R’ UL’ U’RU2″ mode=”OLL”]
The H case
[rubik alg=”(FRUR’U’F’)(FRUR’U’F’)(FRUR’U’F’)” mode=”OLL”]
